This Addendum governs your use of Nyota Mail, custom domain email hosting, pooled workspace storage, mail administration consoles, and outbound email deliverability services. This document forms an integral part of the Nyota Imara Master Terms of Service.

This Nyota Mail Product Terms & Storage Addendum ("Mail Addendum") is an explicit, binding extension of the Nyota Imara Master Terms of Service ("Master Terms"). This Addendum applies to all customers, domain administrators, IT managers, and enterprise workspaces creating mailboxes, managing email domains, or routing outbound communications through Nyota Mail (mailadmin.nyotaimara.com).
By provisioning a custom email domain or creating a mailbox seat, you agree to this Addendum, the Master Terms, and our Privacy Policy.
Nyota Mail operates an independent multi-tenant control plane managed by Nyota Imara Technologies. This control plane handles domain verification, mailbox provisioning, credential encryption, billing ledgers, and Organizational Unit (OU) storage quota enforcement.
To guarantee 99.9% uptime, global IP reputation monitoring, and clean outbound email deliverability, underlying email storage clusters, IMAP endpoints, and outbound SMTP relays are powered by specialized infrastructure partners (including MXroute and Mailcow nodes):
By provisioning mailboxes on Nyota Mail, you consent to the storage and routing of email payloads across these specialized infrastructure partner nodes under strict data processing agreements.
Nyota Mail replaces expensive per-user licensing models with a flat seat rate and shared domain storage pooling.
Workspaces maintaining fifty (50) or more active mailbox seats automatically receive a 20% volume discount applied directly to base seat charges on subsequent billing cycles.
If a workspace reaches 100% of its pooled storage capacity:
To maintain clean IP reputation pools for all enterprise customers, Nyota Mail enforces a strict Zero-Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy.
You shall not use Nyota Mail to send:
Outbound SMTP relays deploy automated rate-limiting and spam filtering. If a workspace mailbox exhibits a hard bounce rate exceeding 5%, triggers spam traps, or receives excessive recipient complaints:
Nyota Mail includes an automated, background imapsync migration engine to assist teams in transferring historical folders and emails from legacy hosts (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cPanel).
While the imapsync runner executes background synchronization over SSL/TLS, the Customer is strictly responsible for:
Nyota Imara provides step-by-step DNS configuration records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Autodiscover). The Customer remains responsible for executing DNS record updates within their domain registrar account.
